Passage

Tawainese American artist, James Jean, fuses contemporary subjects with aesthetic techniques inspired by ancient traditions. Passage uses 15 different metallic colours applied with a bespoke proprietary chine-collé technique. The design of the boat featured is based on the Uros reed boats of Lake Titicaca, Peru while also referencing Géricault’s The Raft of the Medusa. Each one is signed, dated, and numbered.
