Majakathata

Neo Matloga deftly layers medium and narrative to create greyscale ‘collage paintings’ celebrating the joyful minutiae of the everyday. In his own words — “what you see is life.” 

For our first collaboration, Majakathata, Matloga created an original linocut as the basis for a 7-layer screenprint. The resulting edition of 70 is printed by hand on Hahnemuhle 300 gsm etching paper.

Each print is signed, dated and numbered by the artist.
