Hidden Moon

New York-based painter Sarah Lee subsumes post-internet abstraction into undulating, seamlessly-blended landscapes.

Hidden Moon is an original pastel drawing on paper realised in Lee’s signature icy blue palette, incorporating the artist’s recurring moon motif and bulbous, semi-abstract figuration. The work arrives float-mounted on acid-free mount board using archival Japanese paper loops, set inside a matte-white painted wood frame fitted with UV plexiglass for protection.
