Breakdown Work Study #1 (Carrara)
For over a decade, Kevin Francis Gray has created compelling marble sculpture. The Breakdown Work Studies is a sculpture series of expressive heads, part of the artist’s most recent body of work, The Breakdown Works. Each sculpture in the series is unique. Breakdown Work Study #1 (Carrara) is hand-carved from Carrara marble sourced from Pietrasanta, Italy. The work is hand-polished and presented on a bronze pole set in a base of raw Carrara marble.
